Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Domestic Shipping Rates
Free Shipping: Free shipping applies to orders with a merchandise total of $200 or more, and weights below 2 kg. Free shipping is Canada Post standard ground shipping. For areas not served by regular ground mail, your shipping quote will be reduced up to a maximum of $15.
To take advantage of this offer online, simply place your order as usual. Shipping charges will be adjusted automatically at the time of checkout.
For simple flat rate shipping: We offer flat rate shipping within Canada under 2 kg. Above this weight and discounted Canada Post rates are available.
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. These are discounted rates provided by Canada Post.
For large/heavy items: Pre-calculated rates for large/heavy items can often be expensive. We want to ensure you are given the best possible options based on your specific order, so for items which are quite large or heavy, the "Request a Shipping Quote" option will be presented at checkout. This will be presented as "Free" in the Shipping Options so you will only be required to pay for the products when you checkout. Once we receive the order, we will contact you, via email, with a quote for a few different shipping options. Once you choose an option, we will invoice you for the shipping cost via email. If you do not wish to proceed with the order, we will refund any payments made during checkout online. You can also choose to switch to the Local Pickup option.
Local pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. When your order is ready for pickup, we will reach out to arrange a time that works for you. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
Shipping charges for international orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout. These are discounted rates provided by Canada Post.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. DG Woodworks is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sean@dg-woodworks.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
