Welcome to DG Woodworks!  I'm so glad you stopped by.

I'm Sean, the owner and founder of DG Woodworks.  Running this business means so much more to me than selling products.  DG Woodworks is an outlet for starting a conversation and creating items that are functional but also say something, rather than just simply existing.

I have been woodworking since 2016, but have been close to craftsmanship for most of my life.  Growing up, my father was worked with stained glass.  He made everything from small sun catchers to large windows, lampshades and even jewelry.  I was blown away by how versatile a material like coloured glass could be and how it didn't stop my father from constantly expanding the types of things he could make from it.  I remember when he would take me along to his craft shows and, at the time, I hated it.  I mean come on...I was just a kid!  But as I grew up, and payed more attention, I would come to realize that a piece of stained glass artwork wasn't just a pretty thing to look at, but was there to start that conversation and to contemplate what is possible when craftspeople have something to say.  It's not about the words we have to say, but the emotions we want to express while we create, and those we want evoke when you get our work home.
